Sorting through the photo records of my pictures, I found these before and after details of one of the big koi drawings. It’s nice to gaze backwards sometimes. I feel like I did something.

The fish are back! This looks like a change of light, perhaps morning and evening to me.
Morning and evening, yes! That must be it, in these before and after versions!
Lovely development – lot’s of movement and busyness in the second one. They’ve come to life from the first one.
Nice to have the koi master back,
the good thing with art is that it is in our head and can wait patiently to be exposed.
I would like to have a close detail at that cross-hatched backgroung, subtle shades of blue.
I was delighted to see that you suggested my website for the Bonnard rooms. But I have also been interested in Koi fish. Here’s my contribution:http://www.leslieparke.com/landscape2.html
Leslie, Your Bonnard rooms are fabulous. I hope my comment sends people to view them. Your koi are equally delightful. How wonderful to see these fish portrayed in so many different ways.
Thanks, Aletha
