As a name expert, I am entitled to tell you that it’s Paddy not Patty. Patty is a girl’s name, short for Patricia.
I did check before I posted it and found it spelled both ways; of course, I’m reluctant to disagree with a name expert — even on Saint Patrick’s day. Must have been the Green Tea.
Definitely St Paddy’s day (I have Irish heritage so am allowed to say that – hahaha) – ‘top of the morning to you Aletha’ – though I am sure it is not morning where you are – never mind, she says while drinking brown ale and doing a gig!
