The fundamental impulse of drawing is to see a thing and inscribe it in line.  I was at the art gallery a couple years ago, looking at a Renaissance somebody, and made this quick impulsive drawing.  To think of everything having a line around it, to be renderable as just line, lines hanging around the edges of things, universe of lines, lines even around your dreams — is a kind of paradise of drawing.
