I never noticed, but yes!, it does look that way. He was probably in the midst of washing his face (they are forever cleaning, dapper little things …).
Your hamsters are gorgeous – without the arrogance of the chinese silky chicken. We had a hamster but my dog frightened it to death – a very sad affair which involved much screaming by my son and tears from my daughter. Never again.
